About
The Pantry Café
Nenagh
Established in 1992 by Gráinne Moylan, The Pantry Café is one of Nenagh’s best-known meeting points in town whether that be a quick bite or a lazy catch up among friends.
Honing her culinary skills in college in Galway and at Ballymaloe house, at the age of 25 Gráinne started a coffee shop in Friar Street, Nenagh with the help of her father and brother. 13 years later Gráinne moved the shop to the heart of the town at the end of Quintin’s Way where her 3 daughters now work part-time while attending college/school.
32 years on The Pantry has gained a high profile for selling fresh homemade food and delivering gourmet outside catering for all occasions. Offering a full delicatessen serving baked hams, fresh turkey, brown bread, scones and quiches alongside an assortment of fresh desserts from fresh fruit pavlova to gooey chocolate cakes.
A buzzing hive of activity at all times be that breakfasts, brunches, hot lunches, or afternoon treats! While baking and a range of sauces and preserves are their specialities, there’s a real sense of the surrounding food community with many of the delicious dishes offered supporting local artisan foods and businesses.
